-TriStar Laser Wire Marker
-Automatic Wire Stripping Machine
-Computerized Cable Tester (which we
also use to reverse engineer Aging Aircraft harnesses)
-Tension Pull Tester (crimp tester)
We also have a complete inventory of
crimp tools, heat guns, inspection equipment necessary for complete cable
fabrication, assembly and test, including tools unique to the Aging Aircraft
harnesses.
We use a proprietary Standard Wire
Process Manual (SWPM) for wire harness fabrication, assembly and testing. This
process fully complies with FAA ATSRAC (Aging Transport Systems Rule Making
Advisory Committee) requirements.
We have an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database
which we use to control work flow, inventory, management, procurement and work
order generation functions in a single integrated application. The ERP
also provides complete kit configuration management.
The facility and our processes include:
-Bonded storage of all materials used in
fabrication or assembly of parts.
-Complete material tracking system to
capture procurement history of raw materials, through shipment of completed
parts and or assemblies.
Our quality system complies with the requirements of FAR
21.303(h), and this Fabrication Inspection System (FIS) is in process of FAA
inspection approval. Additionally, the system is on track for AS9000
approval later in 2008.
In close cooperation with engineering,
our shop can provide Aging Aircraft harness solutions that meet or exceed the
initial design requirements, using superior in-production materials.
