ABOUT ADAPTIVE AEROSPACE CORPORATION
Adaptive Aerospace Corporation (AAC) (CAGE 1NKV4) is a small
business located in Tehachapi, California
(near Edwards AFB), founded in
1999 in order to fill a need for integrated avionics and structural design,
analysis,
and certification. Combined with effective
program management, this interdisciplinary approach has proven successful
on
numerous projects. The company has
significant strength in aircraft modification and certification. Highly unusual
aircraft modifications have been accomplished
for special aircraft missions, with FAA / STC, USAF T-2, or foreign
military
modification approval.
Clear requirements definitions drive the certification plan and compliance
checklists, ensuring rapid certification agency
approval. Delivered data packages are clear and comprehensive, and coordinate
with air agency work order systems.
Structural analysis packages include static strength and damage tolerance (where
required) analysis and approvals.
Avionics/
electrical analysis and approvals include functional hazard assessment,
airworthiness substantiation report,
electrical loads
analysis, EMI/RFI flight and ground test plans. Where required, reports for
various mechanical systems
interfaces or
modifications are generated and approvals secured (interiors, flammability,
etc.) Additional documents
prepared for a
program include the master data list, weight and balance report, flight manual
supplement and
maintenance manual
supplements, illustrated parts manual supplements when required, providing
necessary instructions
for continued
airworthiness.
AAC has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage FAA certification
projects involving multiple disciplines and distant
team members. This familiarity with civil certification procedures enabled AAC
to develop the modification certification
approval process used by foreign military specific aircraft.
